Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Former Governor of West Java who is now Curator of IKN Development, Ridwan Kamil, posted that he was waiting for the Whoosh Fast Train on his social media account. One netizen asked Ridwan Kamil, did he pay for the ticket to ride the fastest train in ASEAN?
“Ai, you didn't pay to take this train,” said one netizen, Indra.heryadi, quoted on Thursday (4/1/2024).
Receiving Indra's question, Ridwan Kamil immediately answered.
“It's a bit of a strange question. Yes, pay like the others,” answered Ridwan Kamil.

Many netizens responded to Ridwan Kamil's answer post with laughing emoticons.
Previously, Ridwan Kamil posted that currently there is a phenomenon of going home via Whoosh. This means that many tourists from Jakarta who visit Bandung leave in the morning and then return in the afternoon/evening by taking the Whoosh fast train.
“The Jakarta Bandung fast train with a top speed of 350 km/hour is now the main choice for those who need productivity in their activities,” wrote Ridwan Kamil.
Ridwan Kamil said that the distance from Padalarang-Halim by Fast Train Whoosh is 30 minutes. Meanwhile from Bandung-Halim Station 40-45 minutes. He also hopes that the Whoosh Fast Train project will continue to Surabaya.
“Have you tried it? Hopefully in the next 5 years we can reach Surabaya. Hatur Nuhun,” he concluded.
