Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Pos Indonesia, which is now rebranding to POS IND, is one of the companies trusted by the KPU and KPUD to distribute election logistics.
“Actually, this started last year, starting from the ballot box, then equipment, then seals, ink and so on, that was last year and this year the ballot papers,” said PT Pos Indonesia President Director Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi on the same occasion.
“So we vary, some distribute to provinces and districts, some from districts to sub-districts, some get assignments from sub-districts to TPS,” he added.
According to Faizal, so far the distribution of election logistics has been on time. These logistical estimates are given to different polling stations, from 3 to 1 days before election day, depending on the location.
“We have approximately 2,400 sub-districts for distribution. But from the sub-district to the TPS, there are probably around 1,900 TPS. 2,400 times one sub-district, that's how many thousands of TPS, something like that,” he explained.
He stated that all distribution related to the election was assisted by security forces. Some were assisted by the TNI and assisted by the police.
“So we do have standards, from one point to another, there is a report on the delivery of goods. And at the end, everything is well documented, including the time. Everything is guarded by security forces and the TNI.” he concluded.
