Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei Darussalam has officially married the girl of his choice, Anisha Rosnah, in a luxurious procession that took 10 days.
The 32-year-old prince, once dubbed one of Asia's most handsome bachelors, married 29-year-old Anisha, in a procession that began on January 7 and will end on January 16. The entire series of wedding events is steeped in Malay and Islamic customs.
There were 5,000 guests attending the wedding reception, incl royal families from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bhutan.
Prince Mateen is the fourth son and 10th child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, one of the richest men in the world. Despite being fifth in line to the throne, the prince has become very famous in recent years, because of his good looks and because he often accompanies his father on diplomatic activities.
The Time report states that Prince Mateen is one of the richest royals in the world with an estimated net worth of almost US$28 billion or around IDR 434 trillion. This is proven by the ownership of several jet planes, hundreds of Rolls Royces and Ferraris, and a palace with 1,700 rooms.
Not only that, Prince has many female fans hobby is collecting expensive watches. Some of his collections are the Rolex Daytona 11650 which is priced at US$26 thousand or around Rp. 407.1 million and the Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 18k white gold for US$ 124 thousand or around Rp. 1.94 billion.
According to reports Hypethe Brunei royal family is estimated to own more than 7 thousand cars with a total value of US$5 billion or around Rp. 78.3 trillion.
Some of the luxury car collections of the Brunei Darussalam royal family are 550 Mercedes Benz, 450 Ferraris, and 6 specially made Bentley Dominators.
