Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Starting in 2024, Poco will release a cheap cellphone, namely the Poco C65. This cellphone targets the entry level class with a price of IDR 1 million.
The Poco C65 has a 6.74 inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Poco C65 screen has a brightness level of up to 600 nits with Gorilla Glass protection. And TÜV Rheinland certification to protect eyes from blue light.
Poco equips the C65 with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which is made with 12nm fabrication. This processor is combined with RAM up to 8GB and internal memory up to 256GB.

“Poco C65 is equipped with RAM up to 8GB with memory extension technology, which allows it to be expanded up to 16GB,” Poco Indonesia Product Marketing Manager, Jeksen, said at the launch in South Jakarta, Thursday (4/1/2024).
The Poco C65 also has complementary features such as a fingerprint sensor on the side, headphone jack, microSD slot up to 1TB, and NFC.
This cellphone also runs the Android 13 operating system wrapped in the MIUI 14 interface. Jeksen promises that the C65 will get security updates for up to three years.
For the camera, on the front there is a waterdrop-shaped notch which contains an 8 MP selfie camera accompanied by a soft light ring. Meanwhile on the back there is a 50MP main lens and a 2MP macro camera.
Poco is providing a discount of IDR 50 thousand for the promotional period 4-10 January 2024.
