Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2024 will be held at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran (JIEXpo) on 24-26 May 2024. The 19th edition of the Java Jazz Festival has the theme “Embracing Unity Through Music”.
President Director of PT Java Festival Production, Dewi Gontha, revealed that the festival, which presents dozens of jazz musicians on 11 stages, aims to encourage, increase togetherness, and unite people from various circles through universal music.
“In every General Election year we always use it tagline who uses music as a unity. So tagline “This year it is “Embracing Unity Through Music”,” said Dewi at the 2024 Java Jazz Festival press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (20/3/2024).
Jazz soloist from Iceland, Laufey will certainly return to the Java Jazz Festival to entertain jazz music lovers in Indonesia. Previously, Laufey had time to complete it line up Java Jazz Festival in 2023.
Apart from Laufey, the 2024 Java Jazz Festival will also present a number of other international musicians, such as October London, The Yussef Dayes Experience, Yakul, Eliane Elias, Incognito, and The Amy Winehouse Band.
Not only international jazz musicians, this music festival with the main sponsor BNI also presents a line-up of other Indonesian musicians, such as Ananda Badudu, Bilal Indrajaya, Rahmania Astrini, Warna Reunited, Romantic Echoes, Coldiac, and Barry Likumahuwa & The Rhyhm Service: “Salute The Rollies “.
“The names we choose are to reach our market. So there are those that are intended to convert young people and also those that invite their children or even grandchildren,” said Dewi.
“The lineup of artists and musicians is designed to appeal to all groups, with visitors able to choose what they want to see based on preference or mood,” he added.

Meanwhile, Java Jazz Festival 2024 tickets are available in two categories, namely Daily Pass or daily tickets and 3 Days Pass or viewing access for three consecutive days.
Currently, daily tickets are priced at IDR 850 thousand and IDR 1,975,000 for season tickets for three days. Meanwhile, spectators who want to watch Laufey are required to buy additional “special show” tickets for IDR 400 thousand.
