Budi Arie Confirms that Starlink is Ready to Build a Network Operations Center in RI

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi, emphasized that his party had asked PT Starlink Service Indonesia, a satellite-based internet service provider, to have a Network Operation Center (NOC) in Indonesia.

Budi Arie revealed that PT Starlink Service Indonesia has fulfilled several obligations, including anchoring rights and space radio station permits (ISR), with a validity period of 1 year, 6 types of Starlink devices have been certified, including gateway antennas, routers and user terminals. Starlink also has a multimedia internet access (ISP) service provider license, as well as a closed fixed network provider license for VSAT media and multimedia internet access services.
