Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The Financial Services Authority (OJK) implemented new regulations regarding Peer to Peer Lending Fintech Online Loans as of January 1, 2024.
Policies related to consumer protection include reducing interest & other fees, late fines, debtors may not borrow from more than 3 platforms, maximum billing rules until 8pm as well as strengthening billing rules and insurance facility obligations.
President Director & Founder of AdaKami, Bernardino Moningka Vega ensures P2P Lending's compliance with the new OJK regulations including the interest limitation of 0.1%-0.3% per day. This policy is expected to strengthen the level of customer trust in Fintech P2P Lending.
