Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The General Chair of the Association of Indonesian Securities Companies (APEI), Adi Indarto Hartono, is still optimistic about the attractiveness of the Indonesian debt securities market in 2024.
This cannot be separated from Indonesia's strong economic fundamentals with low inflation and bond yields which are still very attractive. Apart from that, the Indonesian government is still actively issuing debt securities, making it an opportunity for foreign investors to return to Indonesia.
On the other hand, President Director of Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia, Rudy Utomo, said that currently the yield on bonds under 5 years is still below 6.5% so it is still very attractive to investors.
Apart from that, Rudy sees the prospect of cutting interest rates as a sentiment for investment in bonds and shares as an alternative investment in 2024.
